Timothy Myers will be conducting the world premiere of The Fix on Saturday with the Minnesota Opera. This is a new opera by composer Joel Puckett and librettist Eric Simonson, based on a true story of the “Black Sox” scandal in 1919. Read recent press landed from Classical MPR and Classical Post. Oregon Bach Festival received an amazing $10,000 grant from University of Oregon IDEAL Framework Diversity Action Plan. With this grant, they will join forces with the School of Music and Dance and DanceAbility to create “Bach in Motion", a special event coming this summer.
